Our factory
Connector and cable assembly, in-house
Cable assemblies and wire harnesses are cut, crimped, assembled and tested on our own floor. The build is not subcontracted, so the drawing you approve is the drawing that runs, and each production lot is checked before it is packed. That is why fiber optic connector manufacturers and brands route termination work here rather than through a trading office.
What we do on this line
From drawing to tested assembly
Seven stages: three in front of production, four on the line itself.
- Cutting, crimping, assembly and test under one roof
- Crimp height and pull force checked against the work order
- Continuity and pull testing on production samples
- Sampling inspection per AQL before packing
Design
The connector assembly is designed against the customer drawing or the reference part: housing, contact, strain relief and pin-out are fixed on paper before any tooling is cut.
Tooling
Moulds, jigs and crimp applicators are made for the part, so the same geometry repeats on every batch rather than being set by hand each time.
Sampling
A first article is built from the new tooling and sent for approval — dimensions, pull force and fit — before the production run is released.
Wire cutting & stripping
Automatic cutting and stripping machines are set to the cut length, strip length and pull-off tab on the drawing. Tinned, half-strip and full-strip ends are available, and the first piece of each run is measured before the batch continues.
Crimping & soldering
Terminals are crimped on presses set to the drawing, with crimp height and pull force checked at the start of each run. Hand soldering covers joints the press cannot reach, and every soldered joint is inspected under magnification.
Assembly
Housings, contacts, strain relief, labels and sleeving are assembled at one bench against the approved drawing and golden sample. Connector orientation and pin-out are checked before the unit moves to test.
Testing
Continuity and pull tests are run on production samples, and dimensions, plating and finish are inspected by sampling per AQL. The results stay with the work order.

Production flow
Six steps from requirement to inspection
One route for a sample order and a production batch, and each step is signed off before the next begins. Inspection covers three checks: endface, insertion loss and interferometry.

Quality control
Checked before it is packed
Inspection sits inside the route rather than at the end of it.
- Continuity and pull tests on production samples, recorded against the work order
- Pull test on crimped terminals at the start of each run and at each shift change
- Sampling inspection per AQL for dimensions, plating and appearance
- Test results and rejected units kept with the batch record
Production samples are checked for continuity and pull strength; the sampling results are filed with the batch record.
Buyer questions
What to ask before you place the order
- Can I audit the factory before placing an order?
- Yes. We host video walk-throughs of the assembly floor and the optical fiber cable production line, and in-person audits by appointment. Sample lots can be pulled and tested while you watch, and the batch records travel with the shipment.
